Haytham Qarajouli & Will Rochford had a great first meeting in the season opener at Thruxton after stepping up from Ginetta Juniors
Haytham Qarajouli who had to miss out on racing last year showed that he still as what it takes after a impressive qualifying which was P7 for Race 1 & P3 for Race 2
Unfortunately Race 1 for Haytham ended with a DNF after getting into P3 on the first lap of the race but then making a mistake at the complex
Race 2 for Haytham was a different story as the youngster raced with the front runners and ended up finishing 4th and just missing out on a podium
Will Rochford’s weekend didn’t start the way he wanted it to after only qualifying P15 for Race 1 & P13 for Race 2 but this only made him more determined to get a decent result in the races.
Race 1 for Will saw him have is best result of his racing career after storming his way through the field to finish in P5 in some of the most trickiest conditions
Race 2 for Will was again a great drive finishing P8 out of the 32 car grid
