James Williams finished 17th with Alex MacDowell finishing 22nd due to damage. It was a disappointing end to the season for all TCR drivers, a season which had seen some excellent drives from all them.

RENAULT CLIO CUP - WORLD SERIES
ROUND 10
Disappointing meeting for TCR drivers. Ben Winrow in Wednesday's official test topped the Clio times and went on to qualify 2nd at the weekend. Unfortunately in his qualifying race Ben received contact and only finished 7th. Then in the main race on the first corner someone spun in front of him which forced him further down the grid he then battled through to finish 13th. Jonathan Fildes also qualified well but in the qualifying race disaster struck when he was running in third place behind Doyle. Doyle lost control exiting the old 'Hairpin' and then made contact with Fildes when rejoining the race. Fildes finished 12th overall in the main race. Young Alex MacDowall was having a superb weekend getting himself a 6th place on the grid for the main race but unfortunately on the green flag lap he spun onto the grass and struggled to get started, this relegated him to the back of the grid and finally finished in 22nd position. James Williams unfortunately never got to grips with the weekend and finished 21st in the main race.

SNETTERTON

RENAULT CLIO CUP ROUNDS 7 & 8
The Clio racing at Snetterton saw a return to the original formula of one qualifying and two races. Unfortunatley round 7 didn't go to plan for the TCR boy's. Ben Winrow who started second on the grid didn't get a good start and ended up dropping back down to 5th on the first lap and then gaining contact with another car which lead to a suspension failure. Jonathan Fildes who didn't qualify so well, was having a superb race moving himself up to 3rd position but again bad luck struck when his track rod end broke. Race 2
A poor start by the pole sitter Carl Breeze lead to a multi car pile up on the start grid, unfortunately Neil Waterworth was one of the car's involved and his racing for the afternoon was finished. The start was aborted and after major work to clear the circuit of debris and oil the race was restarted. On the restart Jonathan Adam took the lead after Breeze appeared to slow down as he approached the start line, the stewards saw this as a jump-start and Jonathan was given a drive through penalty and finished in 7th position. Fulvio Mussi had a solid performance and gained some points back on Adam finishing in 4th. Ray MacDowall who had been struggling all weekend finished in 8th.
