Will Rochford is about to take the next step in his motorsport career by competing in the 2021 Ginetta GT5 Challenge Championship. Last year Will raced in the well-known Ginetta Junior Championship and made great progress with team.
After having no background in motorsport, Rochford gained most of his experience during his rookie year in 2020. He showed great progression throughout the entire season and constantly improved his race craft and car control whilst visiting numerous UK circuits.
Will is remaining with us for his 2021 campaign because of his great relationship with the team. We have worked with many successful drivers over the years and have supported driver development across many different formulas. Lee Brookes (Team Principle) states that he is very pleased to continue working with Will as he’s such a professional young talent that will only become stronger as he spends more time learning in the car.
The Ginetta GT5 Challenge Championship will feature rounds on both the TOCA and British GT packages. Will is sure to set high expectations this year due to the fact pre-season testing has been very positive all round.
